Once a year, the Chelsea and Westminster Hospital, 369 Fulham Road, hosts an annual open day for members of the public interested in pursuing a career in the NHS.
The theme this year is ‘Recruitment’ there will be lots of activities to help attract people considering working in the NHS. There will even be the chance to apply for Band 5 nursing opportunities on the day.
Throughout June, Staff Nurse, Band 5 positions will be advertised on www.jobs.nhs.uk and interviews will take place on the open day. There will also be a showcase of all of the current job opportunities, providing space for people to apply via the NHS Jobs website.
For readers who are considering a career in the NHS, the team at the Chelsea and Westminster Hospital will be showcasing their services, giving career talks where there will be an opportunity to ask questions about a career in the NHS.
There will also be the usual behind-the-scenes tours, health advice and MOTs, family activities and live music to kick off the event at 11am.
Chelsea and Westminster’s Foundation Trust governors will be available throughout the day in the Information Zone to speak to members about the hospital and the work they do on behalf of patients and our local community.
The annual open day at the Chelsea and Westminster Hospital will be held on Saturday 25th June from 11am–3pm at the main hospital site.
